Recover Lost Data in 3 Steps

The Nextbook line of Android tablets from E Fun continues to be expanded to add their new Premium SE Series of tablets. Available in 4 various sizes from 7" to 10," all Premium SE models have the Android 4.0 operating-system also called 'Ice Cream Sandwich.' List prices start at just $150 and range to $280 for that largest model. The Nextbook Premium 8SE can be obtained locally at the Kmart store in Big Elk Mall in Elkton, Maryland only for $169.99.
Nextbook provided me with the Premium 8SE model for review. Having recently reviewed and fallen crazy about an Apple iPad 2, I wasn't sure if the modern Nextbook tablet could win me back to the greater affordable end from the tablet retail market. The biggest difference between the 2 tablets can be a whopper. The iPad 2 retails for approximately $400 when compared to the Nextbook Premium 8SE cost of only $169.99 at Kmart. Do not confuse that discounted to mean cheap. Having reviewed other tablets from Nextbook from the Next3 for the Premium7, I knew the Premium 8SE will be a well-built, top quality product with user-friendly features. I was not at all disappointed.
Features & Specifications
In the Box
If you are always on the fence about buying a tablet because from the expensive in the better know products, you're ready to please take a serious look in the Nextbook Premium 8SE. This 8" Android tablet with Android 4.0 transforms these days experience with a responsive capacitive touchscreen display, Flash 11 for surfing the Net, as well as an on-screen Android keyboard that can take accuracy to a new level.
I purchased and enjoyed each Nextbook tablet from the Next 3 forward and rejoiced with each new feature and improvement that has been combined with each new model. The Premium 8SE is definitely one of the most feature-rich Nextbook tablet to date. The 8" TFT Capacitive Touch Screen with 800 x 400 resolution is bright, clear and extremely an easy task to view. The touch screen is ultra responsive with merely a light touch. You will notice improved accuracy particularly when scrolling website pages, reading email, typing messages, and getting referrals.
In addition to the newest Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 operating-system, you'll find some welcome hardware changes at the same time. The Premium 8SE now features a front-facing camera which can be great for talking within the Fring service, Skype or another VOIP service. The Fring App is pre-installed around the Premium 8SE and offers free video chats, free group video, live texting within the Internet and much more. Fring credits are required for a lot of features so visit Fring online to find out more.
One of the best features is the modern hardware based volume control. Previous Nextbook tablets used software to manipulate volume which made it a little awkward to regulate the sound from inside a game title or another application. Now there are volume control buttons that are part of the proper side with the Premium 8SE's case for simple access.
The Easy Connect WiFi 802.11 b/g/n offers the easiest setup yet. Within a minute, I was connected for the Internet over my wireless network. The Flash 11 enabled Internet Browser provides a fast and enjoyable surfing experience.
Another new feature may be the OTA capability with the Premium SE series. This service automatically alerts you if you have an Over the Air firmware update available for the Android operating-system. I have experienced this on another device so I knew what to expect. I saw that there would have been a firmware update (not an Android update) posted around the Nextbook site but no alert came to me. This OTA service appears to be simply for os updates. I verified that this tablet is defined to download and perform those updates automatically so I continue to hold back for your next Android firmware update to show up.
Previous Nextbook designs have include a built-in eBook Reader/Store application. The earlier models included the Borders App which later switched to the Kobo Books App. The Premium 8SE has the Barnes and Noble Nook application. I have nothing against the Nook Reader itself but when you do not have a B&N account having a charge card on file, just forget about downloading even free books from them. There are 3 free classic ebooks designed for download with no bank card. Unfortunately, if you logout of your respective account within the Nook reader, it's going to delete those 3 books that you downloaded you'll also find to download them once more the very next time you sign up. That's not how I prefer to read books. Fortunately, you are able to still install the Kobo reader around the Premium 8SE should you prefer.
Downloading new games and also other applications to your tablet could be fun. Nextbooks have incorporated different App stores to save you time. The newest one is referred to as the GetJar Appstore making those 3rd party downloads available. I was already acquainted with GetJar and located so that it is an excellent choice to the Premium 8SE.
You may add a MicroSD card as much as 32GB for downloading games, eBooks and much more. Storage space may be expanded much more using the USB Host Mode feature allowing one to connect a USB flash drive as well as make use of a mouse for the Premium 8SE. You will need a USB adapter as a way to connect any device to the Micro USB port on named. I found among those on Amazon for about $2.
The Camera and Movie Studio Apps supply the capability to take pictures and record video projects. A Sound Recorder, a Video Player, along with a Music Player may also be included for the entertainment needs.
Battery life's very good. On an average day, the Premium 8SE gets about 6 hours of mixed use on electrical. The User's Manual estimates the next battery usage times:
If you share my being hooked on Angry Birds for Android, you'll be pleased to realize that all versions from the game such as the newest Angry Birds Space, play perfectly about the Premium 8SE. No more lag time or lockups during gameplay. The improved touch screen provides increased accuracy when aiming and shooting at the intended target.
If there is a Kindle account, you'll be able to even install their App and load your book collection for the Nextbook Premium 8SE. Play games, read a magazine, look at your email, surf the web and much more. The Premium 8SE can it all and can it ok.
One from the computer programs is really a Task Killer which was a must have around the other tablets for occasional problems. It's good to find out it's there if I need it but within the weeks that I have used the Premium 8SE, I have not needed the Task Killer, nor have I needed to use the reset button on the back from the device to recuperate from the problem. Having no problems is even better than with all the Task Killer. That speaks loudly to the stability with this new Nextbook Premium SE Series.
The Nextbook Premium 8SE comes using a protective drawstring pouch that will protect the tablet from scratches but I recommend replacing that having a sturdier portfolio case when time allows. Earlier Nextbooks included nice portfolio cases which enhanced the quality and features from the tablets. One cannot blame Nextbook for economizing and switching for the more affordable pouch. As a consumer, I hope they'll, at some point, reconsider that decision and will include those nice cases with their products again. It is really a nice feature which I miss.
When I shopped for a protective case online, I found that not all 8" tablets are a similar dimensions along with the placement of a camera and device ports can further complicate getting a case. A case with the elastic strap across each corner with the tablet has filled the bill nicely and cost about $6 on Ebay. It holds named securely in place without blocking your camera or ports.
The Nextbook Premium 8SE includes its very own charger. It is not chargeable via USB connection in your computer and other power source. My wish list for the future product could be for USB charging capability. That would allow users to charge named from alternate sources if the adapter wasn't handy.
The Nextbook Premium 8SE is available from Kmart on the web and in the Kmart store in Big Elk Mall in Elkton, Maryland for less than $169.99 with free freight. Visit Kmart online to check on availability with a store close to you.
